Implications of a Commentary: A Note on Questions Raised by the Roman Catholic Commentaries on the International Roman Catholic – Old Catholic Dialogue

This contribution engages with the Roman Catholic commentary on the international Roman Catholic – Old Catholic dialogue as it was conducted during the first decades of the 21^st century and seeks to contribute to its further reception. In doing so, it analyzes and discusses parts of the bipartite Roman Catholic commentary, in particular highlighting those issues that can be seen as also touching on other dialogues, in which the Roman Catholic Church is concerned and formulates questions regarding them. Issues addressed range from the ordination of women to the question as to which church has the appropriate authority to determine the faith.
