A Comprehensive Analysis of Research on Organizational Culture in Romania Cover

Abstract

The paper aims to provide a critical synthesis of the existing specialized literature, aiming to identify the main research directions, the theoretical models used and the results obtained in empirical studies conducted in the Romanian organizational context. The research methodology is based on the documentary analysis of relevant scientific articles and empirical studies, selected based on clear criteria regarding methodological rigor, the application of an established theoretical framework and the focus on organizations in Romania. The results highlight a relatively small number of systematic research, a significant diversity of theoretical approaches and tools for measuring organizational culture, as well as difficulties in comparability of conclusions due to methodological differences and the samples analyzed. However, most studies confirm the significant influence of organizational culture on organizational performance, employee behavior and the ability to adapt to change. The conclusions emphasize the need to develop more consistent empirical research and methodological harmonization, in order to consolidate scientific knowledge regarding the need for organizational culture in Romania and to increase the practical relevance of this field.
