Statistical Analysis of Specialists’ Perceptions in Managing Crowd Dispersal Processes at Large Public Gatherings

The article aims to analyze the factors that influence the efficiency of the crowd dispersal process, from the perspective of those involved in organizing activities at large public gatherings. Managing public order in normal situations requires a comprehensive approach, integrating both nonviolent and violent actions, within a coherent normative framework and within an effective inter-institutional collaboration. Effective crowd management requires considering effective planning before the event begins, monitoring and controlling the crowd during the execution of the event, taking feedback after the event ends and reporting the lesson learned for more effective systems in the future. Crowd modeling and simulations can be useful in planning crowded events and predicting crowd anomalies in real-time crowd management systems. It can also improve understanding of crowd psychology and behavior (including pedestrian, crowd, and group dynamics).
