Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management: Challenges and Strategies Applied at Metrorex

Artificial intelligence is now discussed more often in relation to work processes, including in public organizations. Many administrative activities still follow a traditional path. Even if IT systems are already in place, employees still spenda lot of time checking data, putting information together from different sources, and making sure the information is correct. This study shows how AI could be used in this type of work, mainly in human resources and financial activities. The focus is on everyday tasks that are repetitive, take time, and follow relatively clear rules. It is based on a questionnaire applied to employees working in these areas. The point was to understand what their daily work looks like, how much time is spent on manual tasks, and how they see the use of AI in practice. The results show that most employees are open to use AI, especially for tasks like data verification, report preparation, and information consolidation. There is also a clear preference for keeping decisions at human level, particularly in situations that involve responsibility or sensitive data. The results suggest that AI could be useful in this type of organization if it is introduced gradually and used as a support tool. A balanced seems more acceptable, where technology helps improve work without replacing the role of employees.
