Digitalisation and Human Capital: An Econometric Study of Investment Performance
Abstract
Digital technologies are a key factor in stimulating innovation in the business environment, allowing companies to store and analyze vital information to improve their performance. Digitalisation is rapidly transforming the economic and financial environment, influencing the individual’s perception of accumulating and capitalizing on human capital. This study explores how digitalisation and financial education influence human capital development and shaping investment behavior, especially among young people. Applying the quantitative questionnaire method, the research involved about 207 young people and using the data collected based on the questionnaire, we conducted various Pearson correlation analyses, to demonstrate the significant links between risk tolerance and the level of accumulated experience, to assess the impact of digital literacy and financial knowledge on investment decisions. Several econometric methods were applied to analyze and develop investment practices existing on the market in the current digital context. The results obtained show that both digital transformation and human capital investments stimulate and lead to high-quality economic promotion and development. Digital transformation among young people has a major positive effect on the development of economic performance, being more pronounced in regions with a stronger innovation capacity, suggesting that an innovative environment can enhance the progressive development of the market with technological advancement. The econometric approach used aims to clarify how digitalisation and human capital development contribute to making optimal investment decision.
