The Interplay between Smart Mobility and Car Sharing. Insights from a Bibliometric Analysis
Abstract
The present paper looks into the interplay between smart mobility and car sharing adoption. As a methodological foundation for the systematic literature review, PRISMA 2020 was used to analyze the data derived from the Scopus database. Bibliometrix package of the R program was employed for pertinent examination and illustration of the data. Eight preliminary clusters were grouped into four main themes, that is smart city, autonomous vehicles, technical progress and sustainable mobility, in an effort to systemize the thematic evolution of the studies dedicated to this topic. By pondering the intertwinement between smart mobility and car sharing, new insights into the adoption of sustainable measures for mobility can be formulated and supported.
