Transforming Digital Healthcare through Social Media Strategies (Innovative Business Excellence Transformation)

Abstract

The digital economy enhanced patient’s service models and global professional collaboration. This restructured healthcare systems. Social media has transformed into a strategic infrastructure for engagement, innovation, and knowledge diffusion rather than only a communication tool. Earlier research papers have examined social media in healthcare communication and international conferences though it showed limited attention to broader strategic integration across healthcare ecosystems. This study adopts an expansive approach, it investigates integration across multiple healthcare domains & social media strategies to enhance healthcare innovation, professional engagement, and business excellence. The study utilizes a mixed methods approaches, quantitative social media analytics with qualitative insights from healthcare professionals and stakeholders & explores platform engagement patterns and their impact on innovation outcomes. The outcome of this research demonstrate that systematic social media strategies promote professional institutional collaboration & knowledge sharing, enhancing patient engagement, continuous medical education, telemedicine adoption and crisis communication. Results highlights that through allocating social media within the broader healthcare ecosystem, the research proposes a comprehensive framework linking digital engagement to innovation performance and organizational competitiveness. Findings indicate that platform optimization and strategic content alignment influence professional digital interaction. The study contributes to the literature through highlighting the broader role of social media in advancing healthcare innovation within the digital economy.
