Perception and Integration of Generative AI in Today’s Education

Education has always been a cornerstone of human development and societal progress. Today, the rapid pace of technological innovation is reshaping how we teach, learn and assess knowledge. In this evolving landscape, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is emerging as a transformative force with the potential to redefine the educational experience. That being said, it is mandatory to further explore the implications of GenAI in different economical landscapes such as education. This study examines the impact of this technology on education, exploring integration strategies and its effects on teaching, learning and assessment processes. The research integrates both a comprehensive literature review and a narrative approach to provide a solid theoretical foundation. It also includes an evaluation of the current technological market to identify frequently used innovative solutions. In addition, the study analyzes survey responses from participants directly involved in education to capture their perceptions, experiences and expectations regarding the integration of generative AI. Based on the findings, GenAI shows strong potential to transform education, but its success depends on responsible use, clear policies and proper training. This study shows that the future of education is not just about teaching with AI, it is about reimagining what it really means to learn, teach and evaluate in an AI-driven world.
