Abstract
Construction companies - in general - face an extremely high rate of unwanted events such as work accidents, both in Romania and worldwide. The „no dig” activity area presents very particular challenges and - as a result - this article addresses, researches and provides the detailed results of an extended specific case study for particular work systems operating in this area. The basic purpose of this investigative approach consisted in the development of the prevention and protection plan aimed at minimizing occupational risks in the investigated company, on the one hand, in full agreement with the national provisions currently in force, and - on the other hand - in providing a basis solidly grounded in order to provide all stakeholders with a basic reference on which to initiate pragmatic and realistic actions for real improvement of the state of security, health and well-being in the analysed company.
