Axial (a) and Coronal (b) images of an unenhanced CT brain demonstrating an area of hypodensity with loss of grey-white differentiation in the left cerebellar hemisphere (*), extending to involve the left middle cerebellar peduncle, in keeping with an established infarct. There is associated mass effect with mild effacement of the fourth ventricle (arrowheads) and mild left inferior cerebellar tonsillar descent with crowding of the foramen magnum’s left side (long arrow).
