Abstract
The paper focuses on farm energy consumption reduction by using control according to the forecast, considering possible deviations in generation and load from the calculated ones. The correction of the power consumption value is applied according to the deviation of the main battery state of charge from the calculated schedule, with the start value set based on the forecast. For grid mode, it is proposed to use a monotonous decrease of the battery’s state of charge during the day, reducing energy losses. This is also facilitated by levelling the load schedule by electric transport battery charging. An algorithm for calculating power consumption has been developed to create a schedule for the battery state of charge, taking into account peak consumption and depth of discharge limitations. This, together with the exclusion of correction at certain time intervals, ensures the maximum use of the battery’s energy capacity for renewable energy consumption. Simulation under different load schedules confirms the possibility of decreasing consumption by 3–5% due to the proposed changes in the charge schedules of electric transport and the state of charge of the main storage battery of the system, at a depth of discharge of no more than 52%.
