Abstract

A large part of machines (85–90 %) (Garkunov, 2003) lose their efciency due to wear of parts, which disrupts their normal interaction, causes additional loading, shocks and vibrations, leads to seizures and jams and to accidents in many cases. This paper presents research methods for tribological properties of restorative and preventive coatings in diferent lubricating media at sliding friction.
