Clinical orthodontic photography: Part II - Facial photography
Abstract
The facial photograph is an essential element of orthodontic treatment planning and assessment. For realistic use of facial photography in orthodontics the quality of the pictures must be excellent and this quality must be maintained indefinitely. Appropriate selection of equipment and a standardised routine for taking photographs are necessary to achieve consistency. The second article in this series describes the equipment used by the author for facial photography and the technique for obtaining such pictures.
