Abstract
This article will review systems available to enhance practice administration using electronic data processing; areas of practice management which may be advantaged by computerisation; the advantages and disadvantages to be expected in each area; priorities and order of commitment; and the steps involved in selection and installation of a computer system in orthodontic practice.
