Abstract
We focused in this paper on the transparency of lexemes belonging to the fundamental vocabulary due to different factors: history, etymology, the power of word-formation and compounding, the attribute of expressing fundamental notions etc. This feature of the linguistic sign is relatively seen in the other part of the vocabulary. We analysed this feature comparing a page of prose with a couple of critical fragments referring to that scene.
