Abstract
We focused in this paper on the importance of punctuation marks and its teaching methods in Romanian language, underlining those cases when incorrect punctuation can even change the whole meaning of a sentence. We also illustrate some situations of incorrect use of comma and exclamation mark and we suggest some possible solutions to the problem of incorrect punctuation such as revision lessons, more applications on different texts, tests.
