Fons Klaase is filosoof en werkte jarenlang als docent in het hbo-Social Work. In september 2017 verscheen zijn proefschrift ‘Professionele moed in het sociaal werk.
Over sociale rechtvaardigheid, agogisch vakmanschap & het parrèsiastisch êthos’. Dit artikel is een specifieke uitwerking van wat hij in zijn proefschrift aan de orde stelt.
Voor sociaal werkers verzorgt hij aan de Academy van hogeschool Inholland een post-hbo training over: Ethiek in het sociaal werk.
