Abstract
This thematic issue invites its readers to reflect upon two central questions. If we speak about socialist and post-socialist television in Europe, then:
- What is ‘socialist’ about television in Europe?
- How do we approach ‘television’ in (post)socialist Europe?
These questions come with issues of definition, approach and positioning of this area of study within a broader European agenda.
