La poésie de Tomas Tranströmer et d’Inger Christensen au prisme des Humanités bleues. Une lecture fractale

Cet article propose une lecture renouvelée de la poésie de Tomas Tranströmer et d’Inger Christensen à travers le prisme des Humanités bleues, en mobilisant les concepts maritimes d’espace terraqué et d’objet fractal. Si la poétique des espaces terraqués se saisit des espaces liminaux où les frontières entre terre et mer sont indistinctes, et où les états solides, liquides et fluides se mélangent, la structure fractale, caractéristique du littoral, inspire de nouvelles modalités de lecture qui identifient la répétition de motifs à différentes échelles et cherchent à discerner l’ordre au sein du chaos dans la mise en récit du littoral et des environnements marins par Tranströmer et Christensen.

Abstract

This article offers a new reading of the poetry of Tomas Tranströmer and Inger Christensen through the prism of the Blue Humanities, using the maritime concepts of terraqueous space and fractal object. The poetics of terraqueous spaces undertakes the study of liminal spaces where the boundaries between land and sea are indistinct, and where solid, liquid and fluid states merge, whereas the fractal structure, which is characteristic of the coastline, inspires new ways of reading through the identification of the repetition of motifs at different scales and the effort to discern order within chaos in Tranströmer and Christensen’s narratives of the coastline and marine environments.
