Abstract

Standard mortality ratios (SMRs) of patients with newly diagnosed epilepsy were determined in a prospective national population-based study at the Epilepsy Research Group, National Hospital, London; Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy; and the Institute of Public Health, Cambridge, UK.
