Abstract
An age-specific endogenous-convulsant hypothesis implicating corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), an excitant neuropeptide suppressed by ACTH/steroids, is proposed for the pathophysiology of massive infantile spasms in a report from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
