Abstract

Subsarcolemmal aggregates of mitochondria (‘ragged red’ fibers) in skeletal muscle were found at autopsy in a 30-month-old male infant with Menkes kinky-hair disease reported from the New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center, New York.
