Abstract

Fourteen (64%) of 22 women receiving valproate monotherapy for epilepsy had polycystic ovaries, hyperandrogenism, or both, in a study at the Departments of Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics, University of Oulu, Finland.
