Abstract

Investigators from the Greenwood Genetic Center, South Carolina and Department of Pediatrics, U. of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, studied 6 fetuses weighing < 1 kg with spinal defects detected through maternal serum-fetoprotein or ultrasound examination in the midtrimester.
