Abstract

“In the Dust of the Healer” is a reflective poem that explores the convergence of Christian faith, sacrificial service, and global health practice. Through vivid imagery and theological metaphor, the poem meditates on the embodiment of Christ in both caregiver and patient, emphasizing the sacred nature of healing work. It considers the tension between clinical reason and radical faith, portraying service as a form of liturgy that transcends institutional boundaries. Rooted in orthodoxy yet lived through orthopraxy, the poem invites readers to consider how discipleship manifests in acts of compassion, humility, and cross-bearing within the global health context.
