Abstract

This article first addresses some principal issues of intercultural encounters as those relate to medical systems and the call for the decolonization of medicine, public healthcare in particular (I) followed by­ a sketch of the intertwining of Christian missions with European colonialism (II), while the final part deals with the Christian engage­ment in global health­care work (III).
