Abstract
The issue of protecting the patient’s right to die in peace and dignity is presented in this paper. The following were analysed: the concept of patients’ rights, the content of the patient’s right to die in peace and dignity, and Art. 4 Sec. 2 of the Act of 6 November 2008 on Patient Rights and the Ombudsman for Patients’ Rights. In addition, the legal entities who are entitled to claims in the event of a culpable violation of the patient’s right to die in peace and dignity have been defined.
