This is the case of the first bilateral/double-lung transplantation (DLT) on a Latvian patient which was performed due to right heart failure caused by idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH). After DLT the patient developed acute kidney failure which was successfully solved with an intermittent hemofiltration. The patient now receives specialized immunosuppressive therapy.
