Uri’s Art and Frozen Sunset

The photos in this issue were taken by Art Section Editor Dr. Philip Alexander in his yard in College Station, Texas, during the catastrophic Winter Storm Uri that swept across North America February 13-17, 2021. People across the continent experienced power outages and record low temperatures, and in Texas, the power grid collapsed, creating a first-of-its-kind state of emergency. Dr. Phil took these photos that illustrate the natural beauty found in the midst of chaos.
