Abstract
The geographical distribution of precipitation in the coastal area of Sweden east of Stockholm has been studied for the seasons of the year and also for a few selected daily cases with south-easterly winds. A comparison has been made with studies by other authors in the same area and a discussion is given of the orographic and frictional convergence effects.
