Abstract
In the article the chemical composition of the cloud water collected in the different regions of the USSR is considered. On the basis of their analysis and generalization the main characteristics of chemical content have been obtained. The total ion amount of cloud water slightly differs from that of precipitation, its chemical composition being different. A great influence of industrial pollution on the chemical composition of cloud water is to be noticed.
