A Simple and Efficient Two-step Synthesis of Hexahydro-diazecane-dione Derivatives

Various substituted Dispiro [pyrrolo-piperazino-oxindole] have been synthesized by utilizing a simple and efficient two-step synthetic protocol by Grubbs metathesis in dichloromethane at 40°C. The structures and relative stereochemistry of the cycloadduct were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
