
The Advanced Placement Program is Missing Something: Underrepresentation of Latinx Students in AP Classes
Abstract
While the AP program aimed to create opportunities for ambitious students in high school, there is a history of disproportionate access and success, and systemic barriers–specifically for Black and Latinx populations of students–something believed to have strong roots in how the AP program was designed/implemented.
