Abstract
This paper describes the conversations that faculty should consider conducting on a regular basis about their curriculum. While conducting these conversations is a good thing in its own right, in addition, doing so will make periodic program reviews much less burdensome because ultimately what assessment requires is evidence that faculty are thinking and talking about the curriculum and making adjustments to ensure that their students are getting the best possible exposure to the discipline. This paper provides a series of steps, each one summarized with a recommendation, that will guide the reader through a full cycle of curriculum development and revision.
