Defunding Modern Law Enforcement

The ability of policing organizations to effectively fulfill their common mission of deterring crime and maintaining societal order is dependent upon monetary funding.  All justice system entities, including enforcement, are subject to economic and financial factors that affect their respective operations and services.  Modern calls to implement change in policing paradigms and to reduce funding levels have the potential of reducing the scale of law enforcement scope and influence societally.
